EVENTS: IPOD - Turner Residence (ACT)

Located in the leafy green inner north of Canberra, Turner Residence is a low carbon house like no other. Our challenge was to create a sustainable, certified passive house without compromising on contemporary architectural form. Large openings, a rich material palette and a flexible planning arrangement combine to create a warm, soft and liveable home.

From the outset the carbon footprint in both the design and the operational energy consumption stages of the building were thought through and detailed. Simplicity in architectural expression required complex design to meet energy modelling requirements while selections were predominantly made with long term vision.

• Session 1: 10:00 - 10:30am, max 15 people
• Session 2: 11:00 - 11:30am, max 15 people
• Session 3: 12:00 - 12:30pm, max 15 people
• Session 4: 1:00 - 1:30pm, max 15 people
• Session 5: 2:00 - 2:30pm, max 15 people
