WA's First Passive House Plus!

Designed by the owners and built to Passive House Plus standards by ISMART, this home represents a milestone in energy-efficient construction. Having lived in North America for many years, Carlos and Gloria were well-acquainted with stringent construction standards, including airtightness, high levels of insulation, and double-glazed windows. After more than a year of research, they chose to pursue the Passivhaus standard, recognising it as the only evidence-based approach in Australia that guaranteed energy efficiency and, most importantly, comfort. The home was prefabricated and assembled on-site, with the entire construction process—from pouring the concrete slab to the clients moving in—completed in just eight months.
